Marjorie Ingalls



Marjorie Stone Ingalls, 82, of Severna Park, died
November 25, at her home.
She was born April 15, 1930 in Conneaut, OH to Ralph Herbert and Marjorie Abbott Stone.
She attended Oberlin
College where she earned a Bachelor of Music, and Ohio State University where she earned a Master of Music. Marjorie was Organist-Choirmaster at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church from 1968-1988 and at Severna Park United Methodist Church from 1988-1998. She taught music in Anne Arundel County Public Schools from 1966-1988, most recently at Severna Park and Glen Burnie High Schools.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Ingalls Jr. She is survived by her husband, David Ingalls Sr.; one son, Ralph Ingalls of Perry Hall; two daughters, Mary Best and Beth Vernon, both of Millersville; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 1, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 400 Benfield Road, Severna Park.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Shepherd Lutheran Church Organ Fund.

Mrs Ingalls thank you very much for the memories, your love for music inspired me and this is coming from a jock who just signed up for music class as an easy elective, to this day I still play some songs you taught me on the piano :)
