Mary Cochran Obituary

COCHRAN, MARY LOU, 76, of Crofton, Maryland formerly of Brownstown, passed away on Friday, March 01, 2013 in her home. Born on August 27, 1936 in Brownstown, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Willavene (Rupert) Poloff. Mary Lou lived in Maryland since 1974 where she was the co-owner with her late husband of D & M Cochran and Associates before retiring in 2000. She was a 1954 graduate of Elders Ridge High School. Her memberships included the Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD and the United Methodist Women's Club. Mary Lou enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, cross stitch, playing card games and bingo. And she LOVED sweets. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Cochran in May of 2000; an infant son, Darell; sisters, Donna Lee Condor and Betty Mae Dwyer and brothers, Guy Poloff, Jr. and Tony Poloff. Survivors include her daughter, Willavene "Billie" MacIntyre of Crofton, MD; grandchildren, Collin, Riley and Trevor; siblings, Pauline (Jack) Gerber of Indiana, James (Rose Ann) Poloff of Saltsburg, Delores (Louis) Curcio of Avonmore, Wesley (Linda) Poloff of Clarksburg, Darlene (Benjamin) Wofford of Saltsburg, Beverly (Boyd) Swartz of Brownstown, Cheryl (Dana) Restori of Saltsburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Visitation takes place Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Tribute Service at 1:00 p.m. in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 701 Salt Street, Saltsburg. Interment in Westview Cemetery, Avonmore. Memorial Contributions may be made in Mary Lou's memory to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD, 21401.
