JOHANSEN, PHYLLIS F., 90 of Severn, passed away on September 28, 2013. She was born on August 9, 1923 in Baltimore to the late Albert and Gertrude Elliott. Phyllis worked for Montgomery Wards Department Store for over 20 years. She enjoyed making ceramics, reading, taking care of children and going to Wildwood, New Jersey on vacation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Johansen; her daughter, Denise Brown and her grandson, Paul Johansen. Phyllis is survived by her children, Darlene Perrigoy, Janet Williams, Albert Johansen, Donna Meadows and Trudy Twigg. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue S.W. (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, on Wednesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 1 PM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
