Richard Martin McCadden Sr., 84, of Christmas Place, Weston, WV, died May 26 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Weston following a car accident. He was born March 13,1930 in Baltimore to the late Harry and Mary Agnes Paugh McCadden. Mr. McCadden was a welder who retired from Kopper Co. in Baltimore with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1376, the Weston Eagles and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church in Weston. Richard enjoyed crabbing, fishing and was a Civil War and History buff. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Chamberlain, whom he married November 25, 1949 and who died August 24, 1991; and by two sons Larry Patrick and George Dennis McCadden. He is survived by four children, Marta Hayes and husband Jay of Weston, Richard M. McCadden Jr. and wife Betty of Greer, S.C., Sandra L. Bannon and husband James of Marriottsville, and David McCadden and wife JoEllen of Glen Burnie; brother, Harry McCadden of Glen Burnie; sister, Jean Kahrs of Pasadena, ; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Richard's request for cremation has been honored and his family will have a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 31 in the Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
