Robert "Robbie" Lewis Alton Jr., 64, of Annapolis, died May 7 at Swords Creek, VA. He was born in Annapolis on March 18, 1949 to the late Robert L. Alton Sr. and Betty L. Alton. Robbie was a participant in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed bowling, music, dancing, football, baseball, NASCAR, and spending time with family. He was also a fan of the Three Stooges and Soul Train. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Alton, and his sister, Sandy Alton. Robbie is survived by his brother, Tracy L. (Gerri) Alton of Annapolis; sister, Sherry L. (Freddie) Dye of Swords Creek, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, May 17, at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home, Inc., 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. A memorial service will follow at 12 Noon at the Taylor Chapel. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
