Robert Bauer

BAUER, ROBERT H., 85, of Drozdyk Drive, Groton, CT, and formerly of Heritage Harbor, Annapolis, MD, died peacefully on Sunday May 9, 2013. He was the beloved husband of the late Colene (Woodmency) Bauer. Born in Chicago, ILL, he was the son of the late Jacob and Eva (Slater) Bauer. Robert served his country proudly in the United States Army. He was employed as an Operations Manager for the US. Department of Energy and later retired as a consultant. He will be sadly missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Cathryn R. Pellegrino and her husband John of Pawcatuck, CT. He was the loving grandfather of Sarah Pellegrino of Griswold and David and Mickey Bauer both of Annapolis, MD. He was predeceased by his son, Charles Bauer. Funeral service and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly.
