Ronald Pruim Obituary

Ronald L. Pruim, 69, a resident of Gambrills since 1982, died October 8 at his home. Born October 25, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Frederick and Loretta McLaughlan Pruim, Ronald retired as a Staff Sgt., U.S. Army. He was a member of the D.A.V. And American Legion. He enjoyed ten pin bowling and golf. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Pruim. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" Pruim; son, James E Pruim (Mari); three daughters, Cheryl Galloway, Tina Waidner (Andy), and Kimberly Pruim; four brothers, Fred, Alan, Mark and Gary Pruim; five grandchildren, Angela, Kayla, Autumn, Ryan and Ashlee. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, October 16 and 10 a.m. until funeral begins at 12 noon, Thursday, October 17, at Hardesty Funeral Home P.A., 851 Annapolis Road, Gambrills. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. Memorial donations in Ronald's name may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
