Sandra Shenal Obituary

Sandra L. Shenal, 68, died May 23 at her residence in Odenton. Born July 13, 1944 in Baltimore to the late Marion V. and Cora M. Butcher, Sandra attended Glen Burnie High School. She worked until 1993 for 18 years at Westinghouse and from the mid 90's to early 2000's as a bank teller for the Bank of Glen Burnie. She was a member of the 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odenton, and the O'Malley Sr. Center in Odenton, where she enjoyed playing cards. She enjoyed Betty Boop and Elvis collectibles. She was preceded in death by a brother, Marion Butcher. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James Shenal; three daughters, Kimberly A. Stancliff of Pasadena, Elizabeth M. Getz of Severna Park and Barbara L. Bailone of Myrtle Beach SC.; sister, Barbara Ditch of Glen Burnie; five grandchildren, Alyssa M. Stancliff, Kathleen N. Poole, Kyle R. Burton, Madison E. Getz and Sarah K. Getz. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m., today, Wednesday, at the 1st Evangelical Lutheran Church in Odenton. Interment private.
