Thomas Gummer

Thomas Peter Gummer, 71, of Severn, died January 3 in Glen Burnie. Thomas was born October 8, 1941 in Baltimore to the late J. George and Marie Gummer. He was a member of the IT Union for 56 years. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus. Thomas served his community by working with the Severn Athletics Club. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother Paul Gummer. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret E. Gummer; four children, Deborah Greene and her husband Bob, Thomas Gummer and his wife Kimberly, David Gummer and his wife Katrina and Margaret Gummer; two sisters, Beatrice Garczynski and Dolores Bell and her husband Bernard; seven grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Ryan, Kayla, Megan, Jordyn and Sullyvan. A funeral mass will be held 9 a.m., today, Wednesday, January 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1283 Odenton Road Odenton. Interment services will follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
