Richard Bowen Obituary

Richard Bowen Sr.

Richard "Dick" F. Bowen Sr., 75, a resident of Pasadena for 40 years and previously of Baltimore, died July 13 at his residence.
He was born in Baltimore on January 30, 1937 to the late Leslie and Thelma Bowen.
Mr. Bowen retired in the mid-1990s from the Baltimore Glass Company in Baltimore after over 40 years of service. He was a life member of Summerset Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed hunting deer with his late son "Dicky", watching the Discovery channel on TV, and spending time with his six daughters.
Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his wife, Regene Bowen; his son, Dicky F. Bowen Jr.; two brothers, Petty and Bob Bowen; his granddaughter, Shannon Engelke; and his son-in-law, Lester Engelke.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua Bowen and Richard Inman, both of Pasadena; six daughters, Sharon Engelke of Texas, Donna Szuba of DE, Cindy Smith, Susan Thompson, Dawn Blueford, and Jennifer Lippold, all of Pasadena; two brothers, Lolly Bowen of PA, and Luke Bowen of MD; his sister, Sue Dunkerly of MD; his daughter-in-law, Jenny Bowen of Pasadena; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday at the Stallings Funeral Home, PA where funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery.
