Frank E. A. Cortina, 53, a lifelong resident of the Glen Burnie area, died May 22. Born July 14, 1959 in Baltimore to Joseph C. Cortina Sr. and his wife Georgia L. Cortina (nee Glascock) of Glen Burnie, Frank was the owner of Mighty Clean Carpet Cleaning. He served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, golf, pool, pinball, diving, training dogs, and having fun with his children. He had the talent to walk on his hands. Frank is preceded in death by his brother Joseph C. Cortina, Jr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children, Frank E.A. Cortina Jr., Corine L. Frank and Karah M. Cortina, all of Pasadena, and Meghan M. Cortina of Owings Mills; three sisters, Gloria L. Taylor of Millersvillle and Maria R. Cohee and Peggy A. Stefko, both of Severn; grandson, Cullen F. Frank; and former wife, Maureen E. Neall of Pasadena. Family and friends will gather to celebrate Frank's life from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Monday and Tuesday at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A., where services will be held 12 p.m., Wednesday followed by interment services in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
