Timothy Pratt Obituary
Timothy (Tim) Andrew Pratt passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Tim was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 12, 1963 to Rose Marie (Harb, Pratt) and Julius Turaski. He shared his life with six siblings: Diana, Bill, Judy, Nancy, Anita and Fred. While Tim remained a dedicated enthusiast of Cleveland and spent his formative years in Garrettsville, Ohio graduating from James A. Garfield high school in 1981, his heart and almost all of his adult life belonged to Annapolis, Maryland. A friend introduced Tim to Barbershop singing in 2001 and it has been his passion ever since. Tim traveled all over the country performing and was the lead in the quartet, "The Second Amendment." He was also a member of the Dundalk Chorus and the Sons of the Severn. In addition to his love of performance Tim was an avid golfer and a drag racing fan, which is something he picked-up from his brother Bill when they were both kids and an interest they shared throughout their lives. In addition to his surviving siblings Tim also leaves behind a much loved cousin, Eric Harb and his three sons Eric Jr., Jack and Alec who named Tim "Captain Awesome!" Also surviving are his nieces Emily and Samantha and his nephews DeShon, Michael, Jason, Eirk and Keith as well as his Aunt Joanne Harb and cousin Suzy. Tim is also survived by his "brother from another mother" Robert. A service honoring Tim's deep faith will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, 710 Ridgely Ave Annapolis, Md. 21401. A memorial gathering celebrating Tim's life and his love of Barbershop music will be held the same day betweein 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church of Annapolis, 1300 West St. Annapolis, Md. 21401. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in the name of Timothy Pratt are made to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church Deacons Fund at 710 Ridgely Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401.
