Dorothy Burke Jeschke, 84, of Nokomis, Saskatchewan, Canada, formerly of Westminster, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, due to congestive congestive heart failure, after enduring 18 years with Parkinson's Disease.
She was the daughter of the late Marie and Percy M. Burke. She was the wife of Eric Jeschke.
She earned degrees from Hood College, Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing and a Masters in Education from the University of Minnesota
. She served on the faculty of the University of Minnesota and the University of Washington
in Seattle. She became the first nursing coordinator of the newly-founded Lanigan Home Care District No. 43.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters and three grandchildren, of Bowmanville and Chatham, Ontario, Canada.
