Jacob Henry "Harry" Baugher Jr., 89, of Westminster, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at home.

Born Oct. 25, 1923, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Jacob Henry Sr. and Catherine Klein Baugher. He was the husband of Helen Ruth Hufnagel Baugher, who died in 1985.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. As an Air Force navigator, he completed combat missions in Europe and Asia during World War II and the Korean conflict. He retired as a salesman from Stanley Works, formerly Bostitch Staple Company.

After retiring, he enjoyed playing golf, talking and eating with his "lunch club" friends at Baugher's Restaurant, and especially spending time with his family.

Surviving are children and spouses Thomas and Patrice Baugher, of Indiana, Catherine and Richard Haynes, of Sykesville, Mary "Patty" and Joe Neuner, Joyce Kriemer, and Jacob "Joe" and Barbara Baugher, all of Westminster, and John and Vicky Baugher, of Uniontown; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by sisters Jackie Johnson, Nickie Barker, Jean Boyd, and Doris Cates.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster, with Monsignor James Farmer as celebrant. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
