Odis William Green Sr., 88, of Reisterstown, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, August 15, 2014 at Future Care Cherrywood in Reisterstown, MD. Born on May 16, 1926 in Greensboro, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Edmond and Mamie Rankin Green. He was the husband of the late Alice M. Dorm Green whom he was married to for 38 years. He served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946. He was a retired service driver for Horns Motor Express where he was employed for over 30 years. He was a member and Deacon at Union Memorial Baptist Church. He was a past member of the Riding Gun Club He loved to travel, hunt and enjoyed telling stories about his truck driving. Surviving him are children Odis Green Jr. and Daryl Green; stepchildren Maybelle Randolph, Clarence E. Dorm, Jr., Alicia Norris, Diana Dorm-Boodoo, and Denisa Dorm; sisters LaVisa Calloway and Mildred Siler; several grandchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Cecelia G. Mebane, and step-son Alan S. Dorm. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 10:30 to 11:30 at PRITTS FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster. Funeral services will start at 11:30 with the Rev.
