Arthur W. Moore SUMMERVILLE - Arthur W. Moore, 82, of Summerville, widower of Wanda D. Moore, passed away Saturday morning March 2, 2013 at the Veterans Victory House, Walterboro. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, March 5, 2013 from 6 until 8 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 11 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Memorials may be made to: Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 1447 Gleason Drive, Ladson, SC 29456, Mr. Moore was born August 13, 1930 in Rock Hill, son of the late Julius M. Moore and Bessie Alma Smith Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. He was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and was a carpenter in the maintenance department at the Medical University of South Carolina. Surviving are: three sons: Dennis Moore (Donna) of Summerville, Allan Moore of Summerville and James Moore of Walterboro, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister: Mattie Ledford of Charleston, several nieces and nephews.
