Donald Rodney Geddes CHARLESTON - Donald Rodney Geddes, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Elizabeth Geddes and a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran, entered into eternal rest Monday, June 2, 2014. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL. Donald was born July 27, 1919 in Newburyport, Massachusetts, son of Leland and Edna. Mr. Geddes loved a good laugh and told a true story. In retirement he constructed doll houses on James Island and gave them away to happy people across our great country. Don had a sly smile which reminded us not to take ourselves too seriously. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. Don was preceded in this life by his wife Elizabeth and daughter Mary. He is survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends who loved him dearly, and his dog Annie. Visit our guestbook at charleston
