George Wilbur Miller CHARLESTON - TSgt. George Wilbur Miller, USAF (Ret.) of Charleston, South Carolina, widower of Lila Sherwood Miller, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 5, 2013. His graveside service will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 in Live Oak Memorial Park, at 11:00 am. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway. George was born April 13, 1935 in Washington, District of Columbia, son of Dorothy Sharpe. He had a degree from Southern Illinois University and Central Michigan University. He was retired from the United States Air Force after a 25 year career. He also served in the National Guard and following his retirement he was a Teacher's Assistant with Middleton High School. He is survived by his daughter, Whitney Anne Miller of Lansing, MI; two sisters, Barbara Free of Prattville, AL and Margaret Badgett of Bowie, MD. Visit our guestbook at charleston
