James H. "Jim" Bouchillon, Jr. N. CHARLESTON - James H. Bouchillon, Jr. "Jim", 84, of Charleston Heights, North Charleston, born August 6, 1929, in Georgetown, SC, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014. After joining the US Army in 1948, he became a proud member of the 82nd Airborne. He was honorably discharged in 1951. He then moved to South Carolina, where he met and married Joann Swangham in 1953. He worked for years as a machinist and planning instructor until retiring in 1988. He was a member of the following: Pathagoran Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, The Omar Shrine Temple, The Goose Creek American Legion, The 82nd Airborne Assoc. and The Goose Creek Senior Center. He is survived by his son, James R. Bouchillon "Randy", his wife, Sandi, sons, J.R. and Caleb and their wives and children; his daughter, Rhonda A. Mitchell, her son, Curtis Mitchell and wife. He has 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Being an active member of Our Father's House, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the church, ofh2242@yahoo.com or the following address.
