Catherine Hyland Curran passed away peacefully on June 15 surrounded by her five children at the Wynscape Nursing Home in Wheaton. They married in 1947. She later obtained a degree in Education from Elmhurst College, and taught at Army Trail School in Addison for many years. Kate is survived by children Kathleen (Ronald) Pozzi, Colleen (Lawrence) Moelmann, Margaret (Josh Sale) Curran, Donna (Benjamin) Wolf, and Tim (Yvonne) Curran, as well as eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
