Naccarato, Mary Ann (nee Hilton), age 59, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012, a few days before her November 16th birthday. She was born in 1952 in Gary, IN to the late James and Rose Hilton. Mary Ann graduated from Andrean High School in 1970, received her Bachelor of Science Nursing degree from Indiana University Northwest, and a Master of Science Nursing degree and a Nurse Practitioner degree from Valparaiso University. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and writing, recently publishing "The Falcon of Quraysh" in 2011. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Vincent Naccarato; two daughters, Emilie and Lydia; five brothers, John Michael of San Diego, CA, James (Elizabeth) of Whiting, IN, Thomas (Leslie) of Portage, IN, Terry (Diane) of Harlan, IN, and Jeff (Heather) of Sonoma, CA; three sisters, Nora (James) Henderson of Van Nuys, CA, Andrea (Scott) Flood and Paula Hilton both of Plainfield, IN; and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy. A celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN (46410). Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with a service at the funeral home to begin at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are requested not to send flowers, but to make a donation to the Hobart, Indiana Humane Society. Mary Ann was a lover of animals and a wonderful mother and wife.
