ANDREA ELIZABETH LEE Andrea Elizabeth Lee, 24, passed away in her sleep on May 15, 2013 in Sacramento, California. She was born July 9, 1988, in Paradise, California to Thomas and Margaret "Gigi" Lee. She is survived by her parents, her sister, Michelle Lee Bakhtari (Ross) of Sacramento, CA, and her brother Shaun Lee of Albuquerque, NM, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Andrea grew up in Paradise and graduated from Paradise High School in 2006. Academically she distinguished herself, was Salutatorian of her class in 2006, and was president of both her Junior and Senior classes. She was chosen as the student of the year by the Elks Club in 2006. She was an avid athlete and was on many sports teams, including the high school basketball, soccer, track and snowboard teams. She made All League in both snowboarding and track. She attended the 'Academy of Dance' dance studio from the age of three, and was a Senior Performance Dancer by the time she moved on to college 16 years later. Following High School, she continued her academic studies at both Butte College and CSU Chico. While at Butte she was a member of the Butte College Dance Team. She majored in biological sciences, and graduated with her class at California State University, Chico in 2011. She was most recently employed as a marketing associate at Magnetic Consulting Group, in Sacramento, California. There will be a visitation held at Rose Chapel at 6382 Clark Road in Paradise on Thursday May 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A service will be held in celebration of her life on Friday May 24, 2013 at the Paradise Alliance Church at 1:00 pm, located at 6491 Clark Road in Paradise. In lieu of flowers, donations in Andrea's honor may be made to the North Valley Community Foundation c/o Paradise High School.
