ANDREW DETLEFSEN Adrew Detlefsen passed away March 23rd, 2014 at Colusa Hospital at the age of 85. He was a lifelong resident of Delevan, and farmer in Colusa County. He was the son of Dorothy Cummings and Andy Detlefsen. Andy joined the Navy in 1946, and was stationed on the USS Kearsarge, and USS Midway. He enjoyed spending time at Pismo Beach, watching his grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events. He loved the San Francisco 49er's, and was a long time season ticket holder. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting in Colorado and Wyoming. Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Ann; daughters Linda Olenski of Atwater; Carol Brown (Hugh) of Michigan; Lee Andrea Danley (Alan) of Delevan; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Gordon, Ronald, and Tom Detlfesen, and sister Debbie Jablonski. He was preceded in death by grandson Christopher Rudow. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 28th at the McNary-Moore Chapel 107 5th Street Colusa. Burial will follow at the Holycross Catholic Cemetery in Colusa.
