BILL DALKE William Dalke Jr. was born September 30, 1927 in Hutchinson, Kansas to William & Justine Dalke. He passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 in Chico. Bill served in the U.S. Army. In 1961 he moved to Chico. Bill was a master mechanic and was well known as the owner/operator of Bill's Outboard Service. He was very involved in Boy Scouts and was a volunteer with Fire Station # 42. Bill was a member of the Elk's Lodge and the Eagles. He is survived by his wife Ada, children; Raymond, Vinita, William III, Janne, Michael, Keith, Philip, Ernest, Bill and Susan, numerous grandchildren, and great -grandchildren. A daughter Barbara predeceased him. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2014 at Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home. Private Interment will be held at Chico Cemetery. The family has requested that as a way to honor Bill's life, that you do a kind act or deed for someone.
