CLARENCE BODGER BRINGOLF Clarence Bodger Bringolf, was born, September 7th, 1919, in Billings Montana to John and Emma Bringolf. Clarence served in the U.S. Army from 1941-1945. He was awarded the Purple Heart and discharged in 1945. Clarence retired from the U.S Postal Service in Chico in 1979. He married Carolyn Jean Boop in 1947 and had four children. Gloria Stucker of Chico, John Bringolf of North Carolina, Becky Yount, and Dan Bringolf of Chico. He has 10 grandchildren and 5 great grand-children. Clarence was member of the Chico Elks Lodge and the VFW. Friends and family describe Clarence as a Man's-man, quiet, with a wonderful sense of humor and strong family values. Clarence enjoyed gardening, being out-doors, camping, and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him. Clarence passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Graveside services will be held at Glen Oaks Cemetery, Saturday, December 21st at 11:00am. Donations can be made to Paradise Hospice House or Chico V.F.W.
