GEORGE CLARK, JR. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 27th at 11 A.M. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park for George Clark, Jr. Mr. Clark passed away at his home here in Chico on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at the age of 84. George Clark Jr. was born October 10, 1928 in Piedmont, Missouri to George and Octa Clark. He served in the United States Army, and served during the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. He received two purple Hearts and a Bronze Star He married Patsy Mae Leavell July 29th , 1954. George worked for Butte Creek Rock Construction from 1964 until 1993. He was a member of the V.F.W. Chico Post 1555. He was a big fan of both the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland As and really enjoyed his family and life. George is survived by daughters Pamela Perez and her husband (Ed), Tamela L. Clark, sons Gary G. Clark and his wife ( Machele), Randy R. Clark and his wife (Robin), 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy of 49 years, and grandson SPC. Arron Ray. Clark, and numerous other family members. A visitation will be held Friday evening August 23rd at the Brusie Funeral Home from 5 until 8 P.M.
