JAMES (BUD) WALTER COLLINS James was born January 25, 1923 in Chattanooga Tennessee. He passed away on February 28, 2013 at the age of 90, surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren at his bedside. James served his country in the U.S. Navy as a 2nd class Quarter Master in World War II and was in 5 major invasions. He loved to play the guitar, ride motorcycles, camp and eat ice cream. He loved music his family and his dog Ty. James death was preceded by his oldest grandchild Wendy Collins. James is survived by his wife of 35 years Patricia Nieland Collins, his sister Claudia Atchley and his children; John Collins (Patricia), Cameron Collins, Morgan Collins and step children Mary Rae Nieland, Ramona Weil (Gregory). Grandchildren; James Collins (Stephanie), Heidi Job (Matt), Thea Baker (Justin), Seth Weil (Janelle), Reese Weil, Travis Smith. Great Grandchildren; Samantha Blackwelder Leblanc (Joey), Kylee Johnson, Braden Baker, Wendy Collins, Gemma Job, Amber Collins; Great, Great, grandson Weston Leblanc. Many Cousins, Aunts, Uncles in both Tennessee and California. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to ARC or SPCA/Humane Society.
