LITTLE

Rev. Arthur O. Little, 94, of Ludlow, died Thursday, June 13, 2013. He envisioned and oversaw construction of Central Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Wright where he ministered for 35 years. Rev. Little served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII where he was an underwater welder and the ship's appointed Chaplain. Of proud Texan heritage, Arthur migrated to the Cincinnati area to further his theological training and never left. He was strong willed, profoundly compassionate and dedicated to serving God and his fellow man. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Sue (Anderson) Little. Survivors include his devoted wife, Flora E. Little of Ludlow; Children, Janey L. Phillips of New Albany, OH, Dr. Dwayne L. Little of San Diego, CA, Carol Liles of Mansfield, OH, Saundra Barbour of Villa Hills, KY, David P. Little of Cincinnati, OH, Neva J. Francis of Erlanger, KY; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his step-daughters of his second marriage, Bernice Hawkins of Commerce, TX, Doris Riley of Kilgore, TX, Karen Chu of Kennedale, TX; Visitation is Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home, 316 Elm Street, Ludlow, KY 41016. Service is Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Central Church of the Nazarene, 2006 Pieck Lane, Ft. Wright, KY 41011. A private family interment will take place in Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Rev. Arthur O. Little Ministerial Scholarship Fund at any 5/3 Bank.
