David John REUTEMAN Obituary


David John, 63, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013. David was born on January 25, 1950 to Harry and Virginia Reuteman. He graduated from Greenhills High School in 1968. David began pursuing his interest in the aviation field as a member of the Civil Air Patrol, which led to his internship with General Electric from 1968 to 1971. From 1969 to 1975, David served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves. David spent over 30 years in his career associated with GE in which he began as a machinist, elevated to supervisor and to Unit Manager, as well as finally a Consultant which allowed him to travel and see many countries and to make many friends abroad. After retiring in 2009, David continued his hobbies of photography, travel, golf, staying connected to his GE family and spending time with friends, his mother, children and grandchildren.

David was a giving individual and supported many causes such as the Wounded Warriors Project, USO, NRA, VFW, Haven House and many others. He will be greatly missed by many acquaintances, co-workers, friends and above all, his mother, children and grandchildren, as he was so dear to everyone's life he touched. He is preceded in death by his father Harry and brother Daryl. David is survived by his mother Virginia C.Z. Reuteman; son David (Valerie) Reuteman; daughter Christy Reuteman Martini (Iwa Igbonegun Jr.) and grandchildren Tanner Johnson, Dana Reuteman, Taylor Ferrell, Olivia Ferrell, Sydney Reuteman, Hunter Martini, Niko Igbonegun, Kamryn Igbonegun, Skye Anderson and Eaden Cook. Cremation has taken place. A Visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 from 10:00 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Neidhard Snow Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to any of the above organizations or to the , Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203 .
