Jeffrey Randell of West Chester, OH died Thursday, June 27, 2013 after a five-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57. Born in St. Louis, Mo. to the late Herman Randell and Margaret Fulton Randell, Jeff grew up in Cincinnati. He graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 1973 and Michigan State University in 1978. After college, he founded his own computer-aided design company, Randell Engineering. In 1989, he joined his dear friend Dan Miklos of West Chester to form an instrumentation and controls company as a division of Advanced Treatment Sciences, which worked on water treatment plants across the Midwest. ATS merged with Hazen and Sawyer PC in 2010. He is survived by his wife Terri Hovey-Randell, as well as by his mother, Margaret, and two sons, Gregory and Jared. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Wetherington Golf & Country Club, 7337 Country Club Lane, West Chester, OH 45069.
