Benter
John J. "Jack" loving husband of Annabel R. ( nee Atkins) Benter for 74 years. Beloved father of John E. (Patricia) Benter, Kathleen A. (Thomas) Chatham and the late Nancy L. Benter. Devoted grandfather of Glenda K (Roger) Elam, Michael (Melinda) Harris, Christopher Benter, Bradley (Cynthia) Benter and great grandfather of Brooke Annabel Benter and Jake Logan Benter. Dear brother of the late Lawrence, Fred (Ella) Joseph (Mary), Robert (Catherine), Bruce (Ethel), Ross (Katherine) & William (Dorothy) Benter, Catherine (Delmar) Beckemeyer and Elsie (Fritz) Osborn. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the age of 93 years. Jack served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign. He worked 45 years at Cincinnati Gas & Electric, Miami Fort Station in North Bend and was Ex-President of Addyston V.F.W. Friends may call at the Dennis George Funeral Home, 44 South Miami Ave., Cleves, OH on Monday May 21st from 11 AM until time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM.
