Richard Frisbee Obituary

Richard Frisbee

Leicester - Richard Frisbee, 94, of Leicester, died on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.

A native of Madison Co., Mr. Frisbee was a son of the late John and Mollie Stanley Frisbee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ward Frisbee; sons, Eric and Rex Frisbee; sisters, Julia Roberts and Dora Holland; and brother, Glenn Franklin Frisbee.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Mr. Frisbee is survived by his daughters, June and husband Curtis, and Marlene Frisbee and husband Jack Wallen; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mr. Frisbee will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Townsend officiating.

Memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Amy Brookshire, 749 N/ Turkey Creek Rd., Leicester, NC 28748.
