Eugene J. Brady Jr., 80, of West Pittston passed away Thursday evening, May 15, 2014, in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Hughestown on Aug. 8, 1933, he was the son of the late Eugene Brady Sr. and Josephine Olomis Brady.
He was a graduate of Hughestown High School and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was a self-employed carpenter, co-owner of Brady Brothers Builders and prior to retirement had worked at Fox Hill Country Club.
He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Brady; and two sisters, Shirley Hoban and Mary Jo Adams.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Grace Tracy Brady; son, Gene Brady and his wife, Laura, Wyoming; daughter, Jennifer Judge and her husband, Timothy, Avoca; grandchildren, Ava, Olivia and Geno Brady and Maeve Judge; brothers, Paul Brady and his wife Leah, Suscon and Dan Brady and his wife Rita, Suscon; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in Corpus Christi Parish, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston. The family will receive friends and relatives in the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Celtic Hospice & Home Health at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Arrangements are entrusted to the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, 251 William St., Pittston.
