Joseph J. Linko, 64, of West Pittston passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Pringle he was the son of the late Joseph and the Florence (Steligo) Linko. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, Class of 1967 and received his associate's degree in drafting from Penn State University. Prior to his retirement he was employed at Penn Refrigeration. He was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Church, Pittston.

Joe's passion was working on cars.

Surviving is his wife, the former Roseanne Sarti; children, Janne Tarantini and her husband, Joseph, Harding; Joseph Linko III and his wife, Tracy, Exeter; grandchildren, Ciera. Joshua and Breona Pimental; Christine Brewen and her husband, Jacob; Michael and Danielle Halapin; A.J., Robert and Kyle Tarantini; Marley and Patterson Hale; three great grandchildren; sisters, Laura Gaiteri, Forty Fort, Florence Linko, Washington D.C. and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Joe's life is currently being planned and will be announced in the near future.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Manorcare Activities Department 200 Second Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.
