Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Samuel and Esther Bauman Kornfeld, was a graduate of Meyers High School and attended Penn State University.
He served in the U.S. Army in the 300th Field Hospital and was owner and operator of The Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre.
Mark is survived by his three sons, Eric Kornfeld and his wife, Ellen; Ross Kornfeld and his wife, Dana; and Mitch Kornfeld and his wife, Taly, all of Kingston; 11 grandchildren, Ali, Seth, Nora, Tess, Sam, Ash, Maya, Zev, Bekah, Coby and Zak Kornfeld; and brothers, Myron (Mike) Kornfeld, Boynton Beach, Fla., and Gary Kornfeld, Kingston.
Funeral services were held. Rabbi Larry Kaplan officiated.
Arrangements are by Rosenberg Funeral Chapel Inc., 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre.
