Deryl Paul Guillory, 73, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at home surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Brandon with burial following in Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Deryl was born on October 22, 1939 in New Orleans, the son of Charles and Eunice Guillory. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University .Deryl worked for 25 years as a manufacturers' representative for N.A. Williams. A resident of Brandon since 1977, he was an active and faithful communicant of St. Paul's Catholic Church. A veteran, Deryl served in the Army National Guard. He loved woodworking, fishing, a good game of cards and his friends and family above all. And to all who knew him, he will always be remembered for his remarkable ability to make people laugh.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles P. Guillory.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Hug Guillory of Brandon; son, Daren Charles Guillory and wife Jessica of Eureka Springs, AR; daughter, Brandi Guillory Harwood and husband Robert of Germantown, TN; grandchildren, Wilson, Rachel and Alena Guillory and Austin Cowan; mother, Eunice Guillory of Covington, LA and brother, Melvin Guillory of Norman, OK.
