Roland Leo Ouellette, 89 of Bartlett, died January 9, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, MA and served in the U. S. Marine Corps in the southwest pacific region during WWII. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by Elsie C Ouellette, his wife of 59 years and their five children: Robert A. Ouellette (Ruthie), Stuart, FL; David B. Ouellette (Miriam), Memphis; Lynn A. Atwell (Terry) Lapeer, MI; Barbara J. Morelli (Vince), Germantown; Ann M. Mellen (Don) Bartlett, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Roland donated his body to the MERI (Medical Education & Research Institute/ Genesis). There will be a memorial mass said at Church of the Nativity in Bartlett on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Medical Education & Research Institute/Genesis.
