CAPT. ROBERT MICHAEL SECHER, 33, of Memphis, died Sunday, October 08 from a fatal combat wound in Iraq’s Al Anbar Province. He was a member of Marine Training Team 2 in Camp Hit in the Western Al Anbar Province. Services will be held on Sunday, October 15, at 1 p.m. in the Temple Israel Sanctuary with burial following in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He is survived by his parents Elke A. Morris and Dr. H. Pierre and Lucy Secher; four sisters: Margaret Matthes, Josie Ballin, Paula Salky and Sandy Pepper; one brother, Barney Pepper as well as 11 nieces and nephews as well as family in Germany and Australia.
