George Edward Duclos, 72, of Concord, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, following a period of declining health.

George was born in Concord, Feb. 4, 1941, to Wilfred Duclos and Mary (Pierce) Lackey. He attended Concord High School and he was an Army Veteran.

He loved fishing and his dogs and found a great deal of contentment in a good cup of coffee. Family was of the utmost importance to George and he deeply enjoyed every moment he spent with his loved ones.

George is survived by his grandchildren, James Michael Harrison of Concord and Jenna Harrison of Pennsylvania; brothers, Charles "Jack" Duclos and Wilfred "Junior" Duclos; sisters, Helena Yennie and Mary Davis; niece, Lori Potter of Laconia and several additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sons, James Otis and Micheal Otis; his daughter, Belinda Harrison; and his brothers, Neil, Gene, Stanley, Leon and Wayne Duclos.

A time of gathering will take place Sunday, Feb. 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 172 King St. in Boscawen.
