CONTOOCOOK - Glendora Mougin Hutson, 76, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at her home in Contoocook.

She was born in Rochelle, Ill. March 14, 1936 the daughter of William and Delouise Mougin. Glendora attended Rochelle High School where she developed an interest in art and design. She attended the University of Illinois in Champaign, Ill. where she majored in art.

Glendora taught school in Berkeley, Calif. and taught quilting and design. She moved to Contoocook in 1998. As a teacher of quilting she had a loyal and devoted following. She was a very giving person to everyone who touched her life. Glendora contributed to many quilt shows and auctions for charitable purposes.

She is survived and missed by many friends and former students.

Glendora was predeceased by her parents and a sister, Margaret "Peggy".

Burial will be in Lawnridge Cemetery, Rochelle, Ill. at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Turning Points Network of Sullivan County, 11 School Street, Claremont, NH 03743, which supports women's programs to help end all forms of abuse.
