Harold was born in Clarksburg, W VA. He was the remaining member of a family of 5 children.
Following his high school graduation he attended college, but instead chose to enlist in the new Army Air Corps. He served in its Intelligence Division in Italy, Germany, and Austria during WWII.
He and Lillian Jones were married in 1943 and have three children; Sue Lovell, Bellevue, WA., Jeff Lovell, Pleasanton, CA., and Kristi Lovell McClung, St. Charles, MO. He left five grandchildren, and two great grandsons.
Harold was employed for more than thirty-five years by S.C. Johnson & Sons and won many awards as a salesman and as a sales manager in various states from coast to coast. He retired in 1985, and promptly joined SIRS. Harold enjoyed his gardening, his church and his participation in choir.
Over the years he had been a member of the Sales Managers Club, Lions Club, Rotary Club and Eagles Club. He was also a 32 Degree Shriner.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lynwood United Methodist Church, 4444, Black Ave., Pleasanton, Ca on February 23, at 2:00 PM.
