Helen Louise Mitchell Snow died from
on December 6, 2012 at her home in Clayton, California. Helen was born September 24, 1936, in Lamar, Colorado to Minnie Edith Patterson Mitchell and Richard Marion Mitchell and was the eldest of three children.
Helen and Gene made their home in California for over 42 years, but also lived in Cape Town South Africa, London England, Hong Kong, and Winston Salem, North Carolina. Helen worked in banking for over 15 years, and ended her career as an Assistant Operations Manager at Wells Fargo in 1980. She was an active member of the Clayton Community Church where she had many loving friends, and was an avid seamstress of quilts for her friends and family.
Helen is survived by her mother Minnie, her husband of 56 years Gene Snow, son Kevin, by her two daughters in law Roberta Snow and Martha Snow; sister Janis Duckett and by her four grandchildren Ian, Courtney, Bronwyn, and Mary, and by many nieces and nephews.
Helen's father Richard, brother Robert Leon Mitchell, and son Shawn Colin preceded her in death.
Memorial Services will be on Tuesday, December 18th at 1:00pm at Crossroads Covenant Church, 5353 Concord Blvd, Concord, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on Helen's behalf to the
