Resident of Richmond
After a long illness, he passed away peacefully at his home on November 19, surrounded by family. Kenneth served in the Army Air Corp in WWII and then enjoyed a long career as a physicist at the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory. He was a beloved, long time member of the First Congregational Church of Berkeley. He loved sailing and was an active long time member of the Richmond Yacht Club and the Oakland Power Squadron where he served as Commander and taught celestial navigation. He loved nature, camping, travel, music and woodworking, and was a master craftsman. He was a devoted family man and is survived by his wife Imogene, his children Linda, Victoria and Matthew, and their families. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 8 at 10 am at the First Congregational Church of Berkeley, 2345 Channing Way, Berkeley. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the First Congregational Church of Berkeley.
