Pastor Nathaniel Foster Mar. 4, 1932 Dec. 7, 2013 Resident of Fairfield Pastor Nathaniel Foster, 81, passed away in San Pablo on Saturday December 7. Nathaniel was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is a retired U.S. Air Force TSGT. He was also a Pastor of Greater El Bethel Baptist Church in Richmond for 41 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Juanita Foster; and parents, Emmanuel Bridges and Josephine Foster-Pickens. Pastor Nathaniel is survived by his wife of 61 years, Queen Ester Foster; daughter, Natalie Annette; son, Reverend Tony C. Foster; sisters, Mary Lou Lee, Ophine Giles, Ethel Brown and Maggie Foster; 9 grandchildren, Sabrina Austin, Kenneth Foster, John Foster, Anthony R. Foster, Larry Brandon, Queenesia Brandon, Nija Foster, Queenetta Jones and Nia Foster; and 5 great-grandchildren, Shaheam Outlaw, Rhasheam Boyd, Nathaniel Brandon, Quincy Somphouvieng, and Sa Mya Foster. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 17 from 6 pm 8 pm at Greater El Bethel Baptist, 813 Williams Dr. in Richmond, Ca. Funeral service will be held Wednesday December 18 at 10 am at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 1735 Enterprise Dr. in Fairfield with Dr. Claybon Lea Jr. officiating. Burial will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wiggins-Knipp Funeral Home, 524 Capitol St. Vallejo, CA 94590.
