Beloved husband of 46 years to Margueritta A. Johnson, caring father to Barbara Llewellyn (Don), Marquita Alvarado, Charles Dilley (Deidre), friend of Mary Canfield (Jay), Brother Kenneth Johnson (Mary). Wally had 7 Grandchildren 8 Great Grandchildren 1 Great Great Grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
Originally a native of Portland, Oregon - Wally was in the Navy and served on the carrier Oriskany during the invasion of Inchon in the Korean War. Discharge from the Navy brought Wally to Antioch in 1960 after a brief time living and operating a Chevron gas station in Martinez.
Wally was an independent business man who owned and operated Wally Johnsons Chevron from 1960 through 1976, the Little Corral from 1970 to 1978, and Andy's Self Serve from 1976 to 1992 at which time he retired.
