COSHOCTON: Michael Louis Ianniello went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at 8:23 a.m. after a valiant fight with cancer and surrounded by his family at his home. Born in Mt. Vernon, New York, to Louis and Sarah (Davison) Ianniello on March 29, 1953, Michael lived in Chili, Ohio for most of his 59 years.
His family moved to Ohio when Michael was a freshman in high school, and he graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1971. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior just out of high school, after being led to the Lord after a Billy Graham Crusade. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 1972 to August 1975 on the U.S.S. James Monroe (SSBN622) submarine. Michael married his high school sweetheart, Brenda (McCrea) Ianniello, at the age of 21 on July 19, 1974.
Michael's life can be summed up by a love for God, his family and other people. His grandchildren were the light of his life. The founder and owner of Mike & B Sales and Yellow Bus Sales, Michael was a successful businessman for over 35 years but always made time for others and to see to others' needs. A long-time member of the Chili Crossroads Bible Church, Michael served as the Chairman of the Church Board, as well as in other capacities over the years as Sunday School Superintendent, choir member, Sunday School teacher, and youth leader.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Brenda; his three children, Jonathan (Terri) Ianniello, Angela (Scott) Brillhart, and Elizabeth (Ryan) Burr; his three grandchildren, Sydney Ianniello (9 years), Camryn Ianniello (6 years), and Jameson Brillhart (2 years); sisters, Janet (Harold) Frank and Paula Ianniello; brothers, David (Rhonda) Ianniello, Louis (Charlene) Ianniello, and Ralph (Debbie) Ianniello; and his mother, Sarah Ianniello.
He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Ianniello.
Family and friends may come to call on Wednesday, November 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Chili Crossroads Bible Church, approximately 8 miles north of Coshocton on CR 10. A public Celebration of Life service for Michael will be held on Thursday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chili Crossroads Bible Church, with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating. The family will also greet family and friends after the service. A private burial service will take place Thursday morning.
