Funeral services for Charles Everett Lowrie will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Houston National Cemetery at 12:30pm. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, May 20, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Charles was born August 5, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Jesse and Mabel Lowrie and passed away on May 14, 2013 in The Woodlands, Texas. Charles proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp as a Sergeant in Vietnam. His service record consists of serving from 1962 to 1967, he received the Bronze Star with "V" for Valor and his unit received the Presidential Unit Citation. He served in law enforcement from 1974-2012 as Captain of the Montgomery County Constables' office, Precinct 3. Charles is survived by his children, Sean Lowrie and wife Holly of Spring, Kurt Lowrie of Carthage; daughter, Sara Lowrie of Conroe; grandchildren, Avery Lowrie, Samuel Lowrie, Bryan Lowrie and Sydney Lowrie. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Frank Newton, Lewis Walker, Richard Currie, David Walker, Tony Kerpec, Wayne Eason, Brandon Franklin and Wayne Clark. Honorary pallbearers are Clint Peoples, Jim Keeshan, Tex Martin, Eddie Pierce, Roger Forshee, D.C.
