Elton P. Jordan

AGE: 85 • Hainesport

Elton P. Jordan of Hainesport died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. He was 85. Born in Medford, Mr. Jordan was a longtime resident of Hainesport. He was a graduate of Mount Holly High School and was active with various reunion committees. Elton served in the US Air Force and is a Veteran of the Korean War. After his discharge from the service he worked on the McGuire AFB and retired as an Instrument Shop Foreman. Mr. Jordan was a member of the Korean War Veteran's Association, Thomas W. Daley Chapter; and was a member of the Ankokas Antique Car Club.

Predeceased by his wife of 44 years Mary (Fox), he is survived by his companion Marjorie Gerber of Lumberton; 2 daughters: Dorothy Stellwag of Mt. Laurel & Joyce (Jim) Fraser of The Woodlands, TX; 2 sons: E. Gilbert Jordan of Hainesport & Richard (Joanne) Jordan of Royersford, PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Christopher, Jason, Jimmy IV (Jessica), Jordan, Jacqueline, Ryan, & Tyler; and 3 great-grandchildren: Jimmy V, Jackson, & Joshua; and was predeceased by parents Clement and Anna, 3 brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery at Medford Village.
