George W. VanSciver, formally of Delanco, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Port St. Lucie, FL, at the age of 86. George was survived by his loving wife, Agnes VanSciver of Port St. Lucie Florida; 1 sister, Delores Freynick of Riverside NJ; his 2 daughters, Stacy Mortka-VanSciver of Casselberry, FL, and Kelli Bainger of Williamstown, NJ; and 1 predeceased daughter, Cindy Palumbo of Galloway NJ; 2 stepchildren, Arlene McClintock of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Tommy Mclintock of Chapel Hill, NC; 6 grandchildren, Heather VanSciver of Lake Mary, FL, Jennifer Spare of Williamstown, NJ, Cory VanSciver of Orlando, FL, Stephen & Mike Palumbo of Galloway, NJ, and Ryan McClintock of Haddonfield, NJ; 2 great-grandchildren, Rider Spare of Williamstown, NJ and Raiden Perry of Williamstown, NJ.
George was retired from the US NAVY after 21 years of service. George also worked as a printer pressman for 23 years at the Courier Post. George was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Organization and the American Legion Post 318 of Port St. Lucie, FL.
