Joseph N. Hall

AGE: 95 • Audubon

Joseph N. Hall went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 21, 2014. Longtime resident of Audubon, NJ, age 95. Born in Pottstown, PA, and raised in Collingswood, NJ. Beloved husband of Hortense M (nee Wright). Loving father of Thomas J. Hall and Susan Hall-Stutz (Scott). Loving grandfather of Stephanie Renee Hall and Timothy Noah Stutz. Predeceased by his sister Jesse Frick. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Hall served with the 95th Infantry Division during World War II, fighting in the Battle of the Bulge until the end of the war in Europe. He was the recipient of a Purple Heart and attained the rank of Private First Class.

He was a well respected elder of several area churches for many years including the Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood. Mr. Hall's Christian testimony and witness will be long remembered as the model for many.

Mr. Hall was an expert heating and air conditioning technician, rising through the ranks as a civilian at Fort Dix to supervisor of the boiler plants on base while freelancing throughout the area.

Viewing will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Haddonfield Bible Church, 324 Belmont Ave, Haddonfield, NJ 08033. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church. Interment, Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haddonfield Bible Church at the above address.
